Many farmers desire to become organic certified for a variety of reasons. In the following lessons, we’ll focus on the relevant laws surrounding organic production in the United States, including labeling, pros and cons, practices and issues facing organic producers, and more.
The purpose of the organics course is to inform farmers on the basics of organic certification under the USDA’s National Organic Program regulations. It will deliver a large amount of regulatory information in a very short time period.
