When planning your greenhouse or warehouse it is an advantage to have a tool that creates visuals of various setups. SketchUp (a product of Trimble Navigation Limited) is one tool that can be used to do this. A free download is available from SketchUp’s website. Using this program can help estimate how much equipment you need, help plan the layout and spacing, and can expedite the build. This mini-course will give a basic introduction to SketchUp and how it can be used to plan a farm.
The SketchUp example used in this course is a ZipGrow farm. However, SketchUp can be used to effectively design many other farm types!
