#1 – Orientation Course

Before starting your other courses, learn how to use and access the platform and its resources for maximum success and efficiency!

#2 – Hydroponic & Aquaponic Crops

This course will give you in-depth information and how-tos for greens, herbs, fruiting, and other types of crops commonly seen in hydroponics and aquaponics. By the end of this course, you’ll have an idea of which crops are suited to aquaponics, how to grow, harvest, store, and sell them, and which crops grow best together.

#3 – Aquaponic System Design

Aquaponic systems require you take special consideration to many factors that may not matter as much in hydroponics. Before deciding on a production method or design, take this mini course to learn Once you have an understanding of the theoretical, scientific and practical basis for designing, starting and managing aquaponic systems of all sizes including DWC, media beds, Bato buckets, ZipGrow, aeroponics and decoupled systems.

#4 – Optional: Specialized Method Courses

Now that you’ve taken the Aquaponic System Design course, you may have a better idea of which method(s) you’re going to use on your farm. If it’s DWC or ZipGrow, consider taking the following courses:

#5 – Foundations of Aquaponics

Once you’ve made decisions about your system, it’s time to start cycling it and running it! This course provides comprehensive education on the art and science of aquaponics. Taught by aquaponics expert, Dr. Nate Storey, this course brings you over 12 hours of detailed training on how to start your aquaponic system, manage it for the long-haul, and how to avoid costly mistakes. This course is a great starting point for anyone, regardless of their education or experience level, and is a must for anyone who’s serious about growing aquaponically.
